National Sales Account Executive-Financial Software

The National Account Executives generate the company’s revenue. They manage relationships with Financial Services our largest clients, national banks, to expand product penetration, introduce new products and renew existing contracts. In addition they sell software solutions and services to new and existing financial institution clients. National Account Executives usually work within a selected small number of financial institutions, designated by geographic territory or customer segment. They match clients’ needs with our product and service offerings to create opportunities and generate revenue. As a National Account Executives you will gain knowledge and experience, they take on larger and fewer accounts, higher revenue targets and more complex clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Achieve sales objectives by focusing on expanding relationships and product and services usage within existing
* Renew existing contracts
* Plan, develop and execute sales strategy for all named accounts
* Performs administrative functions to complete sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, correspondence, communications)
* Work with all internal groups to improve the customer experience company-wide and to increase WKFS visibility inside these accounts
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities for the current and future quarters

Qualifications:
1. 5+ Years experience in direct software sales and/or Account Management
2. Experience with complex sales
3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
4. Proven history of exceeding goals and/or sales quotas
5. Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and presenting
6. Demonstrated planning, organizational and prioritization skills
7. Has knowledge of PCs and experience with basic technology components
8. Able to use the PC as a sales and administrative tool, including Microsoft Office
9. Previous direct sales experience
10. Willing to travel
11. Knowledge of banking, regulatory compliance or financial services industry
12. Demonstrated ability to understand and successfully sell complex product offerings and solution sets, particularly software
13. Ability to work with multiple levels of a client institution (Senior Management, Department Managers, IT professionals)
14. Track record of meeting revenue goals using value-added consultative selling strategies with long sales cycles
15. Ability to converse with and influence IT organizations. Understanding of financial technology and core accounting systems.
16. Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases used in marketing
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience working with clients at the management and executive level
2. Experience in Banking, Compliance, Marketing, Technical support or Product management
3. Experience in sales and/or negotiating
4. Experience with CRM system like Siebel
1. Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals Proficiency with PC’s; knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
