In this evolving role, the Sales Associate will work on monthly tasks associated with driving sale revenue within a defined region. Responsible for task-based sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned region. Develops and implements agreed upon Sales/Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the Region.

The Sales Associate will be providing innovative banking compliance and operational risk management solutions and services to banks, credit unions, creditors, dealers, and mortgage organizations in the United States. This person will work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.


Activity will be directed by the Manager of Regional Sales (RSM) as to what plans the Sales
Associate will be tasked with. These plans could include, but would not be limited to, new promotional plans for the company's software products, competitive plans designed to protect existing revenue or simulated sales plans that help to launch a new product. Once plans have been developed and the determination has been made that the plan should be tasked with Sales Associate, product management, marketing and/or alliance management will provide training on the plan and establish project oriented tasks that the Sales Associate will be responsible for executing.


IMPORTANT: A successful Sales Associate will be expected to assume the role of an Account Executive within 8-16 months as vacant territories in the North East become available. This may require relocation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develops and maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance for financial institutions to include agencies by market, current regulatory requirements and pending regulations and legislation and their potential impact on the institution.
* Learns and maintains knowledge of extensive regulatory compliance product offering covering Consumer Deposit, Consumer Lending, Commercial Lending, Tax Advantaged Account (IRA, HSA), Mortgage Lending, Consumer Education and Operations. Primary product focus on software solutions.
*Develops and maintains familiarity with print and electronic forms and web-based solutions to successfully identify and develop opportunities and cross sell solutions.
* Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales Associate to be effective in demonstrating WKFS software solutions.
*Develops monthly business plan in conjunction with Manager of Regional Sales, which details activities to following during the fiscal year, which will focus the Sales Associate with meeting or exceeding sales quota.
* Understanding of pricing and proposal tools.
*Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with decision makers.
*Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on financial institutions, direct mail, Email, and networking as assigned by the RSM.
*Consistent and complete documentation of sales activities for each institution called on in CRM tool (Salesforce.com).
* Identifies, resolves or escalates customer issues for successful resolution.
*Participates in regular 1:1 discussions with Manager, Regional Sales; actively participates in team and department meetings.
*Effectively manages time to achieve both sales and activity goals. Effectively manages Email and voicemail to ensure prompt response to internal and external customers.

Education:
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing or related field; or equivalent job related experience.

Experience:
*Previous experience in banking, regulatory compliance or financial services industry preferred.
*Previous Inside/Outside Sales experience preferred.
*PC knowledge and experience with an understanding of basic technology components.

* Ability to manage territory coverage with periodic overnight stays.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
*Approximately 40% business travel (domestic).
