This Financial Services Manager position responsibilities:
* Communicates, solicits and promotes consumer finance (lease and retail) products and programs to assigned dealers and their staff for both brands.
* Conducts, develops and presents competitor comparisons to promote features and benefits of the company's products. Provides in-depth financial product and related software training.
* Communicates, solicits and promotes dealer lending programs to assigned dealerships.
* Acts as sales closer to procure new commercial credit accounts.
* Provides financial management advice to dealers on cost consolidation, cost saving measures, and potential improvements in financial operating efficiencies.
* Acts as a liaison between dealership management/staff and internal/affiliate departments on consumer retail/lease and dealer finance issues. This includes consumer credit decisions as well as funding, title, inventory control, and legal issues.
* Presents a seamless image of the company where cross-affiliate concerns are addressed.
* Solicits dealer feedback on the company's customer service performance to dealers and consumers.
* Facilitates lease vehicle returns and assists with resolution of related problems.
* Administers and monitors dealer compliance with lease return policies and procedures.
* Solicits auction attendance by dealers and provides program support of remarketing initiatives and programs.
* Trains dealership staff in related programs, policies and procedures.
* Assists in fact finding, relationship management and implementation of action plans during credit workout or asset disposal of troubled dealership loans.
* Assists in relationship management during closure and transfers of dealer lines of credit to alternative lenders (credit takeout).
*Collects unpaid billings, enforces curtailments and actively supports improvement of negative reserves.
* Monitors dealers' wholesale performance and inventory control, including inventory and due diligence audits.
* Monitors and reports lease and retail penetration and performance by dealership.
* Teams with dealers to create and implement action plans to improve dealer performance.
* Responsible for compliance and enforcement of dealer retail agreements, enrollments in lease titling trust, and other legal aspects of financial product relationships.
* Administers contest and incentive programs, and budgets for assigned territory. Administers territory relationship budget.
Qualifications:
* Position requires a bachelor's degree.
* Five or more years of progressively responsible related experience at a professional level, including two or more years in field sales or service; and one or more years in automotive credit.
* Additional experience in automotive finance or automotive sales and marketing.
* Superior interpersonal and relationship management skills.
* Working knowledge of automotive financial products, including consumer or commercial lending products.
* Strong analytical skills; profit focus.
* Working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
* Position requires more than 50% - 80% travel each week. Candidate must be willing to relocate for future job rotation or career development opportunities.
