REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - SOUTHEAST
Virginia - Maryland - Delaware - North Carolina

THE POSITION: As an RSM you will be part of the Industrial Solutions Division responsible for . . .
* The sales growth and profitability of the Region identified above.
* Overseeing the product sales and marketing of services to existing customers through an Account Management Team of six direct reports.
* Expanding the customer base through identifying and creating product demand, prospecting new customers and identifying business opportunities with end users, consultants, contractors and distributors of our products
* Key products are copper cabling products, fiber optics, connectivity and networking solution products with distinct focus on process and factory automation.
* Vertical markets for this position would focus on: Industrial Process Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, Transportation, Utility (Power/Waste Water/Energy) and OEM markets.
* You need to live in the Region within commutable distance to a major airport and operate from a home office.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must haves:
* a BACHELORS DEGREE
* 10 years of industrial sales experience
* some experience selling industrial cables or active industrial communication devices/systems
* 3+ years of sales and personnel management experience
* a get it done, no excuses personality but with a strong customer focus and underlying professional polish
* live within the territory and in proximity to a major airport
Special Notice Credentials:
* an ENGINEERING DEGREE
* experience with process controls and/or general industry automation sales
* experience with the listed industrial vertical markets
* reside in the Atlanta, GA area
