ACCOUNT & TERRITORY MANAGER

OUR CLIENT: Our client is one of world's leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of wired and wireless products related to signal transmission for data networking, industrial automation, enterprise, transportation, infrastructure, professional audio and video and other specialty electronic markets. THE POSITION: In this position, as part of the Industrial Solutions Division, you will be responsible for . . . .

* the sales growth and profitability of the TERRITORY identified above.
* this includes providing product sales and marketing of services to existing customers.
* expanding the customer base through identifying and creating product demand, prospecting new customers and identifying business opportunities with end users, consultants, contractors and distributors of the products

* Key products are copper cabling products, fiber optics, connectivity and networking solution products with distinct focus on process and factory automation.
* Vertical markets for this position would focus on: Industrial Process Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, Transportation, Utility (Power/Waste Water/Energy) and OEM markets.
* You would need to live in the Territory and comfortably operate from a home office setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must haves:

* a BACHELORS DEGREE
* 4 (minimum) plus years of industrial sales experience
* experience to include selling industrial cables or active industrial communication devices/systems. This could include any factory networking experience or control systems connectivity.
* a get it done, no excuses personality but with underlying customer focus and professional polish
* live within the Territory and experience of successfully conducting business there

SPECIAL NOTICE CREDENTIALS:
* an ENGINEERING DEGREE
* experience with process controls and/or general industrial automation sales
* experience with the listed industrial vertical markets
* reside in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area
