QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT:
* a BACHELORS DEGREE, preferably in a technical major - preferably in Electrical Engineering.
* 4 (minimum) plus years of applicable industrial sales experience in the Houston Industrial Market. This should include
experience calling on End Users, Machine Builders, Engineering Firms and Contractors in markets such as Semiconductor, Food
& Beverage and Oil & Gas experience is highly desirable.
* Prior experience in selling industrial wire and cable or industrial automation devices is preferred

SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
INDUSTRIAL SALES
HOUSTON, TEXAS

infrastructure, professional audio and video and other specialty electronic markets. They are a $2B company with 7,000

THE POSITION: In this position, as part of the Industrial Solutions Division, you will . . . .
* be responsible for the selling of industrial cable (signal processing) products, Ethernet switches, and connectivity
products (splitters, panel boxes,connectors).
* focused on targeted vertical markets including Industrial Process Manufacturing (Petrochem/Oil&Gas), Discrete
Manufacturing, Transportation, Utility (Power/Waste Water/Energy) and OEM markets covering the metro Houston area.
* deal with OEMs, contractors, consultants, systems integrators, architectural & engineering firms and engineering,
procurement and construction firms.
* focus on gaining spec position on end-user projects/applications and pulling sale through a distribution channel.
* working from a home office environment, with office tools provided by Company. You need to live in the territory.
* ultimately be responsible for the sales growth and profitability of the HOUSTON metro area.
* provide product sales and marketing of services to existing customers.
* expand the customer base through identifying and creating product demand, prospecting new customers and identifying
business opportunities with end users, consultants, contractors and distributors of the products
