CHANNEL SALES MANAGER

OUR CLIENT: Our client is one of world's leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of wired and wireless products
related to signal transmission for data networking, industrial automation, enterprise, transportation, infrastructure,
professional audio and video and other specialty electronic markets. They are soon to be a $2B company with 7,000 employees and manufacturing capabilities in North America, Asia and Europe. Their market presence is truly global with strong brands and financial strength.

THE POSITION: As the CHANNEL SALES MANAGER you will be reporting to Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of sales volume for branded products within the company's distribution channels. The $20M territory would cover Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota and support 3 Account Managers.

Specifically you'll be responsible for . . .

* Coordinating and implementing sales programs between field sales, inside sales and channel partners
* Coordinating the introduction of new products to channel partners
* Planning and executing sales, training and seminars for customers and distributors
* Planning and executing problem-solving calls with appropriate personnel within the channel
* Routinely conducting business reviews with channel partners to assure sales goals are being met

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Haves:

* a Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
* Knowledge of and experience with signal transmission products that could include networking products and/or systems, automation equipment or wire and cable products for either industrial or enterprise customers or both.
* significant experience managing distribution channels
* live in proximity to the Twin Cities, MN area and be comfortable in working from a home office.
* expected to have good interpersonal skills
* a get it done, no excuses personality but with a strong customer focus and underlying professional polish
* legally able to work in the USA without visa sponsorship
