MANAGER OF INSIDE SALES - APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Headquartered in Tulsa, OK, they have fifty years of leadership in providing heat recovery units, installed around the world. THE POSITION - This is a new position with dual function responsibility. Yes, as the Lead Application Engineer you need to have the technical expertise to interpret customer needs and applicable product/service solutions. However the Manager of Inside Sales for the Engineered Products Division is responsible for the inside marketing and sales functions of the division. You need to be a legitimate sales person who knows how to close business. This position exists to develop new business and maintain the current clientele. You will be responsible of the performance of the Inside Sales Team - four direct reports (sales application engineers) and one administration person.

CREDENTIALS & REQUIREMENTS - The successful candidate must:
* have Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chem Eng or other technical discipline
* have experience in heat transfer concepts and equipment preferred.
* have familiarity and knowledge of ASME Sections 1 and 8
* be a Technical Sales Professional with experience calling on OEM's and Representative Networks
* have 5+ years experience preparing proposals for equipment designed to customer specifications with varying degrees of complexity; must have the ability to prioritize requests for quotation in accordance with corporate directives.
* be able to develop monthly and annual sales forecasts in conjunction with the engineered products team.
* work regularly with the engineering, drafting, projecting and purchasing departments in the development of proposals.
* be able to develop an annual business plan for sales department in conjunction with the engineered products team.
* be able to develop and maintain tracking system for major projects.
* be able to analyze and control expenditures of the sales department to conform to budgetary requirements.
* be willing to assist other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications for Engineered Products.
