Job Description:
-Cold calling on small and medium companies in the field for new business opportunities (This represents 70% of your field sales and activities and 20-25 field cold calls per day).
-Meeting with and closing new business with existing clients (This represents 30% of your field sales time).
-Schedule 15-20 appointments per week
-Close 8 plus deals per month
Typical Day:
-Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
-8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. are traditionally phone prospecting and appointment preparation activities.
-10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. are activities involving field calls & appointments
-4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. are activities including phone prospecting, management feedback, and preparation.
-Each district is unique, but weekly schedules include a morning district wide sales meeting, one day per week of team training and an individual meeting weekly with your sales manager. This could include a field ride with that manager for a day.
