VICE PRESIDENT – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The primary responsibility of the Vice President, Business Development is to profitably increase revenues within the assigned sales territory. This will occur through a concentration on both new business development and expanding current client relationships. The position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Regional Sales Director and participates regularly in team selling with colleagues and partners, including national sales, marketing efforts, and with global project services when required.

SALES
• Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets across all lines of business
• Helps execute sales, marketing, and technological strategies to improve revenue and profit gains for existing client and obtain new clients
• Establish and maintain senior management (CEO, CFO, COO, EVP, Sr. VP) relationships for the purpose of communicating to clients
• Write proposals, creates and presents winning client presentations, leads RFP response process and follows national pricing guidelines
• Maintains acceptable levels of accounts receivables with clients and ensures coordination of organized collection efforts through internal and external methods
BUSINESS PLANNING
• Develop and implement a yearly account plan with clients to grow revenue, profit, and loyalty outcomes
• Analyze market, sales, and financial data in order to make sound business decisions, improve client, and company profit, revenue, and client loyalty outcomes
MARKET MANAGEMENT
• Coordinate closely with the operations team and project services on delivery of local and national client projects
• Develop yearly territory business plan, present to management, and update them quarterly
MARKETING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
• Analyze sales and marketing data to create strategies and tactics to improve the customer outcomes
• Develop sales and marketing forecasts to support setting strategic and tactical direction for the sales team
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
• Provide regular updates to Senior Vice President of Sales, Regional Sales Director with regard to sales activities, including client visits, first-in new business meetings, current client updates, outgoing proposals, won/loss record with details, shopper rates, conversion and engagement rates, pipeline reports and progress toward quarterly and annual revenue, profitability targets, and any other data requested by management
