 This is a 6 months contract opportunity at our customer site, a leading company in Richardson, TX 75080.

Job Description:

EE/CS Software/Script Development Technician
Develop scripts, tools and a test infrastructure to: Facilitate hardware lab qualifications, specifically memory and DIMM/DRAM qualification
Automate testing, including a regression test environment environment
Contol systems running margin tests (frequency, voltage and temperature)
Keep and Parse error logs, identify failures, etc; Develop targeted tests for hardware qualifications.

Required Skills:

Strong Perl Skills, familiarity with Expect preferred
GUI develpment experience with Perl
Familiarity with Linux, Linux development experience
Object oriented programming experience
Some database experience preferably SQL or Linux
Knowledge of Verilog simulation
Ability to co-develop scripts and tools with other engineers or technicians
Ability to work accorss geographies
EE OR CS Certification and/or Associate degree with 5+ years of experience
